研究概要
人間や動物は生涯を通して環境に適応できるように継続的に学習し続けることができるが、現在の AI システムでそれはできません。我々は近似推論、ベイズ統計、連続最適化、情報幾何学などの分野を専門とする機械学習研究者であり、生物の学習と AI の学習のこのようなギャップを埋めることを目指し、AI が自律的に知覚・行動・根拠を学習できるようにするアルゴリズムの開発に取り組んでいます。
