研究概要
私たちはレーザで操作される個々の原子に基づく量子技術を開発しています。たとえば、レーザーは原子を絶対零度まで冷却したり、光ピンセットで捕獲して移動したり、その電子を巨大な軌道に励起したりすることができます。 これにより、原子の量子的性質を利用し、量子システムをアトム・バイ・アトムで作ることができます。特に、冷却原子型量子コンピューターの実現を目指しています。
