研究概要
疾患に関連した患者ゲノム情報が膨大に蓄積する現在、動物モデルを用いたゲノムと疾患の関連性解明は、前臨床研究および創薬に極めて重要な役割を果たします。本ユニットでは、ゲノム編集技術を活用して標的遺伝子を改変したマウスを作出し、疾患関連性を個体レベルで詳細に検証することで、創薬ターゲットの有効性評価を推進します。さらに、遺伝子改変技術や表現型解析手法を高度化し、患者ゲノムに対応した抗体医薬・核酸医薬の創薬研究を支援する有用なヒト化疾患モデルマウスを開発します。
