Seeking a Research Scientist, Postdoctoral Researcher, Technical Staff I, or Technical Staff II (25-3510)
Laboratory
Terahertz and Infrared Quantum Photonics Research Team
RIKEN Center for Advanced Photonics
(Team Director: Koichiro Tanaka)
Outline of Laboratory
Our team aims to develop novel quantum light sources in the terahertz and infrared regions and, by exploiting spectroscopy based on new concepts enabled by these sources, to elucidate quantum states in matter and the processes of optical energy conversion.
In particular, by focusing on nonclassical light and developing innovative nonlinear spectroscopic and imaging methods that take advantage of its unique properties, we seek to reveal essential aspects of matter that have remained unexplored.
