Sustainability for the Future 2050: RIKEN’s action plan to create a future together with the environment
On June 1, Sustainability for the Future 2050: RIKEN’s action plan to create a future together with the environment, was adopted based on the basic policy in the 5th Mid- to Long-term Plan target period pertaining to environmental measures.
RIKEN aims to become carbon neutral by 2050 by taking measures to achieve a thriving and sustainable future society. The institute plans to achieve this by promoting activities that contribute to the global environment, bringing together consideration for the environment and the power of science.
