Health insurance

RIKEN is a member of the Science and Technology Health Insurance Society, and its benefits are deemed to be better than the Japanese national health insurance. The health insurance provides coverage for all medical care services necessary to treat illness and injury, including dental and eyes. The health insurance pays 70% of the total medical cost, and so your charge will only be 30%.
